If the pack uses coding that has been updated since version 15 the pack will need to be rebuilt by the author. MC 1.20 and 1.21 both had a lot of programming updates. This fix works for every pack I show how to make on my channel. Old downloaded packs will probably need more than just this.

If you own the server and are the admin, and if it is installed as a server pack, and if the server is set up to download packs to users systems it should work. Really depends on the set up of the server. If you are only a user on the server you can install it on your system and you will be able to hear the music, but no one else will.

@HTGGeorge it's work for me in server, but idk if my friends hear it. What if I share it with my friend and he put it in resource pack should work yeh?

Sure, just put all of the files in the same folders. Get the list of available music to replace on my website here htg-george.com/minecraft-downloads/.

You can either use a folder or a .zip. You cannot use .rar or .7z, those don't work.

If the original song is still playing then MC isn't seeing the new song. Make sure it is named exactly the same as the original and that the folders are all correct. Make sure you didn't use any upper case letters. And make sure you didn't type .ogg onto the file name instead of converting it.

I redo this video for each new version of Minecraft. So when 1.22 comes out I will do it again. I do that mostly because I get lots of requests for doing the videos in the latest version. I know its basically the same, you know its basically the same, but lots of other people need to see it in the current version. Besides in 1.21 I show the 3 new records that were added.

Leave the song in stereo. This is a glitch that may be fixed in the future. MC already fixed this in Bedrock.

Songs end at the length of the song being replaced. This is something that started happening a few versions ago. I don't know of any fix for that yet.

Tricky, capes are special awards that are given out my Minecraft. Depending on how long you have been playing you may have gotten one when Microsoft bought Minecraft. There are some mods that say they add capes but I haven't tried those out yet and for your friends to see those capes that mod would need to be installed on the server you play on. If I can find any other way to get a free cape that works in multi-player worlds I will do a video about it.

I have heard of a solution that requires some programming for Java, not sure if it will work in Bedrock. If it does I will make a video about it this Fall. I will first need to get some basic programming videos up on my channel to get people up to speed.

Make sure you update Quilt or Fabric to 1.21. Then check to see if your pack has been updated by the author. There were some programming changes in 1.21 and if the pack has anything in those areas it will need to be remade to match the new programming.

@@Dunkelschwarz1 Was the pack made for 1.21 or an earlier version? If it was made for an earlier version and it used some programming that was changed in 1.21 then the pack will have to be reprogrammed to work for 1.21, this fix won't be enough.

@@HTGGeorge yes it says that on the download too (stay true 1.21.1) other Ressource packs work. If I load minecraft without modloaders the Pack works fine on the 1.21. But as soon as I use a modloader it gives me the error

I had no problem with it.

But you can't control the graphics, animations, and shader packs like you can with Optifine

@@HTGGeorge it's on you what you want better performance or better compatibility with mods you can still use mods and shaders with fabric api and iris

If the name changed, then the pack is working and we need to find the problem with the files. First make sure there are no capital letters anywhere. Next make sure the disc image is saved as .png (not .PNG or anything else). Make sure all files are named exactly the same as the original files they are replacing, and check the file name extension, if you are not seeing the .ogg or .png then you need to show File name extensions. Also check the folder names, they need to be exactly like I show in the video.

The brush paints at one pixel, you can't go smaller than one pixel. On a different note, I am no longer using Nova Skin since the tool hasn't been updated in 10 years. I am now using Planet Minecraft for all my skins.

To do this on a server you need to be the serve admin, the pack needs to be installed as a server pack, and the server has to be set up to automaically download packs to users systems. Aside from all that it should work.

The pack.mcmeta file doesn't go into a folder. It sits next to the assets folder and the pack.png file. Check out any of my longer videos on texture and resource packs.

First look for spelling errors in the lang file. Next, if you are not in the US you will need to edit a different lang file, here is how you find those ruclips.net/video/oHpKFajkILA/видео.html

@@HTGGeorge What do you mean by spelling errors? mine is the en_us.json file, the description I'm trying to change looks like this "item.minecraft.music_disc_otherside.desc": "Oliver Tree - Miss You (Bonus Track)", the comma is at the end because of the stuff below. @@no-nb3sh No difference between 1.21 and 1.21.1 for this project. If the original is still playing then MC isn't seeing the new file. That usually means a spelling error, or something like using a capital letter in the name, or not naming the file exactly the same as the original file.

@HTGGeorge the original isn't playing just the description for the original is showing up.

You can't add more songs then are already in Minecraft, but you can change more than just one song. Just put everything in the same resource pack.

I will make a video soon for that. The Planet Minecraft stuff is the same but the Bedrock resource pack is different.

This isn't for speedrunners, except that you can use Optifine to boost your fps by turning off lots of animations and stuff, and that could help with speedruns.

That's right. Just put the 2nd disc stuff into the same pack and edit the same lang file. If you want you can use the same disc image, just duplicate the image file and give the duplicate the correct name for the 2nd disc.

I have heard that it doesn't work if you are under 13, no idea why. If that isn't the case then carefully check each step.

This should still work, just update the format in pack.mcmeta to 34 for 1.21. But I will be doing an update of this soon.

Very odd, unless you are playing 2 discs in 2 different jukeboxes. Can't see any way that this can happen with just one disc.

Make sure you converted the sound to .ogg and didn't just type .ogg

If you are not hearing any sound then you may have typed .ogg onto the file name instead of converting the file to .ogg, has to be converted.
